Our Black Max program is genetically engineered to be predictable in all aspects of production from from and BW, to polling power and colour pattern. A common question asked is, “Can we use these bulls on black or black baldy cows and not get smoky calves?” The answer is yes. We guarantee it. Should you get a smoky calf from a black, black Herford cross or Herford cow, we will purchase the calf from you at top steer price. The Black MAX genetic selection are three generation polled, solid colours, non spotter and non diluted. Approximately 75% of the sale bulls are homozygous in these traits and we only use Simmental bulls that have high probability of being homozygous. For these reasons, these MAX cattle are more predictable for these traits than our purebed lines.
