Red and Black Angus are the foundation of Soderglen’s Program. They represent the largest numbers of mother cows by breed as well as in quality. It is the base breed for our MAX cattle as well as our new line of CCM cattle. We can attribute our success to disciplined breeding strategies using proven AI sires generation after generation. Great cowherds are created by culling and we cull more cows per year than most of our competitors own. Disposition, udders, feet, fertility, maternal performance and calving ease are ruthlessly evaluated yearly.
